BRFHS PAW PRINT: What sports have you played here?

Maddie Stewart: Hockey, cross country, and softball.

PP: What do you enjoy about cross country?

MS: I enjoyed the memories with the coaches and with the team and all the races that we did. I was closest with Cheyenne Colon, Megan Wiesender and Jordyn Briggs.

PP: When and why did you join hockey?

MS: I joined my junior year because of Swiggy [fellow teammate Anneliese Swiggum]. It gave me something to try that was brand new. 

PP: How did it feel for you to score your first goal senior year?

MS:  Scoring my first goal was awesome, and I almost cried. My teammates were so excited for me. 

PP: What impact has softball had on you?

MS: I have played softball most of my life, so this year it kinda impacts how much we haven’t been able to play so far, and it is just all different because we have to wear masks on the bus.

PP: Which sport did you enjoy the most?

MS: Softball, because I enjoyed it the most out of all the sports I have played because I just know how to play it, and it is so fun to hit the ball with all of my teammates that I have become closer to.
