Trend of the Moment: Snowball Dance
With the annual FCCLA Snowball dance coming up, many students are rushing to get last minute things done. Whether it be hair and nail appointments for girls or just finding a shirt for boys, everyone has something to get done before attending the Club Energy: Rebellion dance, this years DJ.
The Snowball dance was started as a fundraiser for FCCLA several years ago and since then has become a staple in the winter spirit week. This year, however, the organizers have changed things up a bit trying to better promote the dance.
One new thing that FCCLA has done this year to promote the dance is having the DJ come in during the lunch shifts to play music and talk with the students. Some students enjoyed the music, some certainly did not.
“We were trying to eat, not listen to loud music.” said senior Paul Murray.
Whatever the case, it sounds like this year’s Snowball is going to be something like we’ve never seen before at BRFHS. So be sure to check out the dance this Friday night after the boys basketball team’s last home game.
