Guests in the Music Department

This week in the music department was spent organizing and with guests.

In both band in choir the final Solo & Ensemble performance lists were created, with students finalizing decisions on their selections. At this moment in time students have to decide whether or not they are ready or willing to make the commitment to perform in March.

A list was also created for both the Taco Supper and the Middle School Solo & Ensemble festival. Student volunteers were asked to work for both events. The list was put in both the band and choir rooms for sign up. Students were also reminded that they need to bring a baked good to the Taco Supper to help with the fund raising process.

On Thursday a representative of the Marines came in to speak to the students about their options in the military as musicians, and also to answer any general questions they may have about joining the military and the Marines specifically.
