The guidance office is working on organizing college scholarships for seniors. Guidance counselor Sue Leadholm said, “seniors are highly encouraged to fill out the local scholarship application–there is over $100,000 available in scholarship funds from our community alone!” The local area scholarship is due on February 26.

Since it is the start of term three, seniors should also be thinking about preparing for their senior interviews. These interviews demonstrate to the community the good that comes from the high school,” said Leadholm. It’s crucial that all seniors take this seriously.

“We want to show the accomplishments of all students; not just the ones who are involved in a lot of school activities,” said Leadholm. Students can prepare by putting together their resume. The interviews will be taking place on April 9.
