Did You See That? A Milestone for Favre

On Monday, October 11, a lot of people were wondering if this would be the night if Brett Favre would throw his 500th career touchdown pass.

The Minnesota Vikings were playing the New York Jets and Brett Favre was only one touchdown pass away from a huge milestone in his career.

“I was really hoping that he would throw it tonight against the Jets,” said junior Nathan Bird.

People watching the game had to wait until the third quarter before the 41 year old quarterback got his game back. On a third and 19, Favre lofted a beautiful pass into the corner of the end zone for a touchdown to Randy Moss.

“I was very excited when it finally happened,” said Bird.

With Favre now having 502 career touchdown passes, it puts him alone in the 500’s and the second place guy is only at 420.

“I don’t think anyone will catch Favre in touchdown passes,” said Bird.

Favre came up short in the win colum, but he set a huge milestone in his career.
