Band and Choir students spend their time selling brats at Burnstads and doing other fundraisers to save money for the New York trip they will be taking the summer of 2014. Students receive a percentage of what they sell and can use that money to pay for the $760 trip.

At Burnstads on December seventh, student senate president Joseph Barnett spends his Saturday bell ringing for The Salvation Army. Students involved in student senate decided that volunteering was something they were interested in doing this year. “It’s not really why would I want to volunteer, it’s why wouldn’t I want to,” said Barnett.
