Mole Day Slideshow
Mole day is a special day in chemistry classes around the United States. Usually it is celebrated on October 23 from 6:02 on the morning to 6:02 at night. The date and time is represented by Avogadro’s number (6.02 x 10^23) a measuring unit used in chemistry. Since the spring semester chemistry class is not in session during October, they celebrated the special day during April 9.
- Sophmores Sydney Harkner and Kaston Skogstad went above the requirements for the day by dressing like moles.
- Students fill plates with food that their classmates brought in. Students recieved points for bringing in food.

- Students had the option to make games for the class to play on mole day. This game was created after the childrens’ game Candy Land.
- Chemistry students get the chance to make moles for the classroom for points for the day. These moles have many different styles and colors.
- During the regular mole day in October, the students have the option to decorate pumpkins. Since the spring mole day was around easter, students were able to create easter eggs and baskets.
- Sophmore Holland Hogden made her own shirt with transfer paper. On the shirt, the woman is urging her husband to get the mole on his back removed.
