R5 Slideshow
- Senior Nicholas Eden talks a while with the R5 speaker Ryan Schwaninger. Many students stayed into fourth block to talk to Schwaninger.
- At the R5 Productions assembly, R5 sold shirts. The shirts had saying on them like, “I’m a Drug Free Puppy” and “Be Yourself”
- R5 speaker Ryan Schwaninger proposed the idea of walking a mile in someone else’s shoes. Giving the school this poster, R5 gave students the opportunity to sign it and write what their dream was.
- Vice Principal Mark Weddig has an interview with News Channel 19. Weddig was interviewed by New Channel 13 also.
- R5 speaker Ryan Schwaninger and juniors Kendra Gates and Tyler Roskos talk before the assembly begins. Gates and Roskos saw R5 productions at the FCCLA regionals and thought it was a good idea to have them speak at our high school.
- R5 speaker Ryan Schwaninger has the students take an oath before watching a video; in the oath the students had to promise to not try any of the dangerous stunts at home.
- Students enjoy a few minutes of video footage of poeple getting hurt. Laughs rang throughout the theater, and R5 speaker Ryan Schwaninger said at the end of the clips “You people are sick, laughing at people getting hurt.”
- Senior Emily Lahmayer was picked to demonstrate the point of if a person is doing something you don’t like, you will make them stop. Speaker Ryan Schwaninger remarked on how tall Lahmayer was when she stood up from her chair.
- Junior Olivia Lee watches along with the rest of the school as flashes of notecards go by on the screen. Students took this into their own hands and wrote down their own secrets; the cards are now posted up in the cafeteria.
